Jared and his crew did a great job on my seawall at Boneyard BBQ. It was a very tough area to install a seawall, but they did it perfectly.
After careful consideration of many seawall/ shoreline contractors , we felt Jared was the most qualified and knowledgeable to perform our project. We couldn’t be more pleased. Jared from the beginning was very professional and meticulous and that continually followed till completion. We have multiple people in our association that each had ideas and concerns and he was able to meet and exceed everything to accommodate the full project. His communication is superior and consistently keeps you informed on progress. Shortly after being introduced to JG, he worked diligently with me to redesign our lake wall which was in complete disrepair. He quickly provided me with a detailed written cost estimate which was very competitive. JG made the permitting process seamless, and completed our project on time. It looks beautiful and is seamless with both neighbor’s different styles of lakefront rock, a difficult design task he achieved. JG went above and beyond to make sure that the in progress wall work did not put our land at risk for erosion. During the entire process, he clearly communicated updates to me in a timely manner. We greatly appreciated his work and dedication to the project, and have since hired his team to take on additional projects for us, including septic work. We, like many, were dealing with the risk of losing our yard and trees to erosion as the water on Lake Huron continued to rise. I contacted Jared at Michalski Seawalls and asked if he could come out and provide us a quote and some options to address the problem. Our biggest concern was first to protect our property and second to find a solution that would still allow us to easily use the waterfront. This included getting everyone including our children and grandchildren as well as the toys, boat hoist, etc…. to the water’s edge as safely and easily as possible. Our meeting with Jared went great and he had a number of good ideas. He asked us to give him a few days to create some drawings and he would get back to us. As promised, we had drawings in hand as well as an estimate quote within the week. We were very excited with the plan particularly with the idea of a wide staircase that would allow us to not only take steps to the water but with the ability to allow our boat hoist to roll up and down the ramp making it much easier to get it in and out! Once we got started, working with Jared and his team was great. They not only did great work but were very professional and they made working with them very easy. We also explained our disappointment about haphazard work by a previous contractor that left our shoreline in chaos. You carefully explained the engineering process that was behind your strategy. Jared had never met us. We got his name from reputation. He took our call on a Friday early evening and went out to the site we were looking at.
